On Feb 11 I met with Dr. Armstrong, my new cardiologist who reviewed my health and described what they saw in the ct scan. There was evidence of calcification of the aorta, the main artery of the heart. He prescribed an echocardiogram for Feb 25 to get a closer look.
So on Feb 25 I went into the same doctor’s office for the echo which is basically an ultrasound procedure. Results showed that there is in fact calcification. The clinical description is “Coronary artery disease due to calcified coronary lesion”. In addition to this there was evidence of aortic regurgitation (Aortic regurgitation is leakage of the aortic valve each time the left ventricle relaxes Learn More).
